Triceratops (try-ser-ah-tops) means "Three Horned Face." Triceratops is one of the most recognizable dinosaurs and the most well-known of the ceratopsians. Along with the 3 horns that earned it name, Triceratops had a large, sturdy build and strong limbs. Triceratops' skull was 1/3 the length of its whole body. It is very similar looking to another ceratopsian known as Torosaurus.
